I understand that my voice, vote, story, relationships, resources, lived experience, and community ties are forms of power. I will not stand outside the systems shaping my life. I will learn how power works, how decisions are made, and where my power can move change.

BUILD YOUR POWER

I will stay connected, informed, and ready to act. I will build my capacity through civic education, organizing, storytelling, digital advocacy, policy action, and community work. I will not build in isolation. I will work across communities, coalitions, organizations, faith spaces, campuses, neighborhoods, and movements to grow collective power.

USE YOUR POWER

I will take action when democracy, justice, equity, civil rights, and repair are on the line. I will vote, check my registration, contact decision-makers, sign actions, share campaigns, support advocacy efforts, and help others participate. I will use my power to meet the moment.

LEVERAGE YOUR POWER

I will use what I have to move others. I will invite people into the League, share tools, support campaigns, build partnerships, and help organize power in my community, city, state, and nation. I will help turn individual action into collective power because collective power is how we win.

BUILD THE FUTURE

I commit to a future built on repair. I will keep learning what repair requires, including truth, accountability, restitution, rehabilitation, satisfaction, and guarantees of non-repetition. I understand that reparations are one of the clearest forms of repair, and that building a democracy rooted in repair will take people, communities, institutions, and movements working together. I will help build people power, advance democracy, repair harm, shift culture, change policy, shape narrative, and reclaim power, equity, and justice. I will help build a democracy rooted in truth, accountability, repair, and collective power.
