COLLEGE FOR ALL
A degree shouldn’t come with a lifetime of debt.
Coming Soon★ WHAT'S HAPPENING
THE SITUATION
Reintroduced May 21, 2025 by Sen. Sanders and Rep. Jayapal, the College for All Act would make community college tuition-free for all and four-year public college tuition-free for households up to $150K (single) / $300K (married), double the maximum Pell Grant, and double funding for HBCUs and Minority-Serving Institutions — paid for by a Wall Street speculation tax.
★ WHY IT MATTERS
Americans hold about $1.7 trillion in student debt, which delays home-buying, family-building, and wealth — especially for Black and first-generation students. Tuition-free public college opens opportunity without trading it for decades of debt.
★ WHAT WE'RE DEMANDING
Pass the College for All Act to make public college tuition-free and debt-free for working families.
