PROTECT WIC
Fully fund WIC for moms, babies, and toddlers.
Coming Soon★ WHAT'S HAPPENING
THE SITUATION
WIC was fully funded for FY2026, but the House passed an FY2027 Agriculture bill (213–210) cutting WIC about $200M and the fruit/vegetable benefit ~10%. The Senate has not yet acted.
★ WHY IT MATTERS
WIC serves pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children. Cutting it raises risk in the most fragile window of life.
★ WHAT WE'RE DEMANDING
In the Senate FY2027 Ag bill, fully fund WIC, restore the fruit/vegetable benefit, and make virtual services permanent.
